For Prospective Students

I am always looking for highly motivated Ph.D. and Maters students to work with me in my lab. If you are interested, please send me an email. However, before contacting me, I suggest you read this section carefully.

I typically admit only students with a strong technical background (bachelor’s or Master's level) in computer science or a closely related field.

Among many desirable attributes, students should have a strong inclination to design algorithms, write efficient software, and write research papers. At the minimum, I expect students to be highly proficient in C++ and C#, and be familiar with game engines like Unity3d and/or Unreal Engine, knowledge in computer graphics and human-computer interaction would be a plus.

If you are interested, please send to me the following information alongside a brief message expressing your intent:

a comprehensive CV/resume,
GRE score, and TOEFL score (for international students),
the semester you can join at the earliest,
(optional) a small paragraph highlighting any courses taken and/or work experience in any of the research areas mentioned above. Just a one-liner would suffice on each item, and
indicate that you are responding to the contents of this webpage.
